New Theme For This Blog

I have been thinking to give this blog a makeover since I have been with the old theme for a while now. I really didn't have a hard time looking and choosing for the templates since there are a lot free blogger templates that is available online. 

So when I woke up this morning, I have finally decided to install the new theme for this blog. I chose this design because of its simplicity. I believe that since this is about the story of The Father and Son who are  living apart from each other and the story of a son's student life; the header will give justice to this blog's title.

Working On My Domains

My main blog and  my baby blog is still redirected to godaddy and hopefully it will be okay tomorrow. I was told that customization of the domains will be done for two to three days. I was just so excited about this new domain names. I just hope that I did the right thing. 

I was told to buy domains for my blogs especially now that they are still babies because they will lost their Page Ranking if changed later. I went into this domain buying after knowing that godaddy is on sale. I do hope  everything will work out just fine.

What about you? Please enlighten me by sharing your experience about changing domains and also on web hosting. I still have a lot to learn about this stuff.

New Template Again?

Hello Friends!

As you can see I changed the template again. I am such a tweaker! I couldn't seem to find a template that suits me best.  I was actually looking for a simple and user friendly template that may somehow fit with me and my nephew's ( Macky) personality.

Macky wanted something with the touch of black in it because he is now into it. Black clothes, black pants, black accessories,etc.  And I wanted something that is simple but not boring. Hopefully,  this one is for good.

The header background is a shot personally  taken  by me at the Davao Gulf here in Davao City. That picture was my first attempt to use sweep panorama mode using my Sony digital camera. The "little" people you can see are Macky and his friends.

What can you say with the new look of this blog?  Thanks in advance for your honest opinion.

Trying to Blog Again

After a few months of not blogging and  not even peeking in my blog site I am now trying to be active again. I was encouraged by Tita because this is also my way of communicating with my father who is now working abroad.

This blog is dedicated to my father who works hard to provide for my needs and also to those kids my age whose parents are far away from them. I am hoping that through this blog I can reach out to all of them and also to my parents who are now living a separate lives.

I will really try hard enough to update this blog with my daily events at school, my basketball varsity journey and also my life being away from my parents. With the help of my Grandma who I call Mommy, my Grandpa who I call Daddy and my Tito and Tita who are trying their best to make me feel loved, I know this journey will be worth my while.

I am hoping for the support of those friends who I will meet along with this journey. Thank you in advance.
